LAS VEGAS (AP) — A new pedestrian bridge in downtown Las Vegas is a culture hound’s best friend.

The bridge dressed up in LED lights connects seven downtown cultural institutions, including the Lied Discovery Children’s Museum, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum and the Neon Museum.

Mayor Oscar Goodman celebrated its opening Thursday.

The bridge is located near the Cashman Center.

It’s part of a larger Cultural Corridor Trail Project currently under construction.

The project includes installing sidewalk ramps along 12 city blocks connecting the cultural institutions.
