DALLAS (AP) — Southwest Airlines Co. said Monday that its Southwest and AirTran operations will each increase service to Milwaukee.
The company said that on Sept. 6 Southwest will begin two daily round trips between Milwaukee and St. Louis and add a second daily round trip from Denver.
On the same day, AirTran Airways will add two daily round trips between Milwaukee and both Des Moines, Iowa, and Akron-Canton, Ohio.
The new flights will begin the same day that AirTran’s ends its deal with SkyWest Airlines, which has operated some AirTran flights.
Shares of Dallas-based Southwest ended Monday unchanged at $10.93.
